Teddy Chocolate Cookies
These fun little teddy chocolate cookies are like a reversed chocolate chip cookie. They’re perfect for chocolate cravings!

Do these cookies look familiar?
If you follow me on Instagram, then you’re probably so excited for the recipe that I promised! But they might look familiar for another reason…because they’re inspired by my Chocolate Teddy Muffins!
My kids and I loved those chocolate muffins so much that I tweaked the recipe a bit and made some drop cookies with a lot of the same ingredients. This time, I added a new ingredient – white chocolate chips!
What Ingredients Do I Need to Make Teddy Chocolate Cookies?
Before you grab your bowls and whisk, here’s a list of all the ingredients that you’ll use:
- Butter
- Granulated Sugar
- Brown Sugar
- Egg
- All-Purpose Flour
- Cocoa Powder
- Baking Soda
- Salt
- White Chocolate Chips
- Teddy Graham Cookies
Got everything? Great! The recipe’s just down below – and don’t worry, we’ve got the exact measurements you’ll need!

Mix Them Up
Obviously, things like flour and sugar are non-negotiables. But you can change up the mix-ins without altering the texture of these chewy cookies.
Try them with your favorite flavor of Teddy Graham cookies. The honey graham ones stand out beautifully, but the chocolate ones will make them taste extra rich.
And if you don’t have Teddy Grahams, leave them out! The cookies will still taste incredible.
What about the chocolate chips? These are completely optional. Instead of white chocolate chips, try them with peanut butter chips, butterscotch chips, or go for the double-chocolate flavor and use milk chocolate chips!

Chill The Dough
When you look at how much time it will take to make the cookies, remember to give yourself time to let the dough chill in the fridge.
It should sit and get nice and cold for at least 20 minutes.
Why do you chill cookie dough? Because in order to get perfectly chewy cookies, the dough needs to be slightly sticky. Sticky dough is difficult to scoop or roll out into balls. But when you put it in the refrigerator, it binds together better.

Do These Cookies Stick To The Cookie Sheet?
Yes, the batter is known to stick to the cookie sheet. It’s important to remember to use a non-stick cookie sheet, parchment paper, or grease your baking sheet.

One of my favorite little hacks is to use a silicone baking mat on top of the baking tray. I’ve never had cookies stick to one (and they’re so easy to wash, too!).
Can You Bake Teddy Grahams?
Yes, the Teddy Grahams will taste delicious when you mix them in with the cookie dough and bake them. They won’t get overbaked or too crispy.
I don’t recommend trying to add them to the cookies after they’re baked. If you try, they just won’t stick to them.

How To Store Homemade Cookies
It’s best to store your homemade chocolate cookies in an airtight container and keep them in a cool, dark place (like your pantry). Basically, keep the air and light off of them so they don’t get stale.
Then, just eat them up within a week. (That won’t be a problem, I promise!).
You can freeze the cookies (or cookie dough), too.
Wrap each chocolate cookie in plastic wrap and place them in a freezer-safe food storage bag. Then, keep them in the freezer for up to six months. Or keep the cookie dough in a freezer-safe container and keep it in the freezer, too.
