Funfetti Cookies With An Oreo Center
These funfetti cookies are a party on your plate! And the Oreo center adds double the deliciousness with zero effort.

Do you ever have those days when you don’t have much energy (or maybe time) to make a fancy dessert, but you really want something that’s a little extra?
These cookies are perfect for those days! I started out with a vanilla cookie base, added my sprinkles, and then added an Oreo cookie in the middle. The result is a combination of festive flavors that makes you feel like a kid again!
Simple Funfetti Cookies
I always start with a simple recipe as the base of all my fancy recipes. This time, I began with a simple sugar cookie base. I used both granulated and brown sugar to give it a rich, caramelized flavor.
Then, I added sprinkles on top. This is how you add that little touch of a party to the cookies! They look fun, and they taste slightly sweet at the same time.
Funfetti Cookies With White Chocolate Chips
To give the cookies even more flavor combinations, I mixed in some white chocolate chips. They’re optional, so you can leave them out if you want.
Try the cookies with different types of baking chips, too. Chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, or even peanut butter chips will taste delicious!
If you have kids, let them pick out which baking chips you use. That’s the fun part of baking.

Why Do You Chill The Cookie Dough?
It’s important to chill the cookie dough before you roll them out and bake them. I do this with all my rolled cookies.
In order to bake chewy cookies, the cookie dough has to be slightly sticky. And if you’ve ever tried to roll out sticky cookie dough, you know it doesn’t work very well!
Chilling the dough makes them easier to roll. But don’t freeze it! You only want it to be chilled in the refrigerator so they’re easier to handle.
What Ingredients Do I Need To Make Funfetti Cookies?
If you love to bake as much as I do, then you probably already have all the ingredients to make these cookies. Here’s what I used when I made the funfetti cookies:
- Flour
- Baking Soda
- Salt
- Granulated Sugar
- Egg
- Brown Sugar
- White Chocoalte Chips
- Sprinkles
- Butter
- Oreo Cookies

Easy Birthday Cookies
These sprinkle cookies are the perfect things to bake and serve at a birthday party. They remind me of a vanilla birthday cake!
Plus, you can change the cookie that you add to the middle. I love Oreos, so that was a no-brainer for me. But you could use a different flavor or Oreo, or add a mini chocolate chip cookie to the middle, or even your favorite seasonal cookies.
How Long Will Funfetti Cookies Last?
Good news! You can store these cookies in the pantry. Keep them in an airtight container and they will last about a week. That is, if you don’t eat them all first!
You can freeze the cookies, too. They will stay fresh in the freezer for about six months.

How To Make Funfetti Cookies With Oreo Centers
Begin by mixing the ingredients for the cookie dough. In a large bowl, mix together melted butter and both sugars. Add egg and combine.
Next, sift flour, baking soda and salt and add to your wet ingredients. Mix until a cookie dough forms.
Add white chocolate chips and ½ cup of sprinkles and fold into the cookie dough.

Chill the cookie dough in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.
Once chilled, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out cookie dough balls that are about 3 to 3 ½ inches in diameter. Place gently on the lined baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each one.

Press an Oreo cookie into the center of each dough ball. Roll the edges of the cookie onto a plate with your remaining sprinkles.
Bake for 9 to 12 minutes or until edges are golden. Remove from the oven and as the cookies cool down, press down on the Oreo to ensure it’s embedded into the cookie.
Allow to cool then serve!
