Can I swap the peanut butter chips for other chips?
Absolutely! Browse the baking aisle and pick out the baking chips that sound good to you. Dark chocolate, white chocolate, or even mint chocolate chips. I think butterscotch chips would be amazing.

Then, after you pick out your favorite baking chips, choose a candy to match it. For example, if you use butterscotch chips, top the cookies with chopped Butterfinger pieces. Get creative and have fun!
How to Make Chocolate and Peanut Butter Chip Cookies
Begin by mixing together your melted butter and both sugars in a large bowl.
Next, add the egg and mix it thoroughly. Set it aside.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.

Slowly add the dry ingredients into your wet ingredients until a cookie dough forms. Fold
in both chocolate chips and peanut butter chips.

Wrap the cookie dough in plastic and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Once chilled, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment
paper.
Roll the cookie dough into 1 ½ inch spheres and place onto the lined cookie sheet.
Bake for about 8 to 10 minutes.
Once ready (it should be golden around the edges), work fast (without burning yourself!)
and top each freshly baked cookie with 4 to 5 mini Reese’s cups.

Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.
These Chocolate and Peanut Butter Chip Cookies are really fun but also secretly so easy to make. They’re perfect for handing out as gifts, setting out for open houses, or when you just want to munch on a homemade cookie.

How To Store Homemade Cookies
Definitely store them correctly so that you can enjoy them all week long! Keep your homemade cookies in an airtight container. They will stay fresh in the pantry or on your countertop for up to a week.

You can freeze the cookie dough, too. Keep it in a freezer-safe container for up to six months.
