Funfetti Muffins With Teddy Grahams
Perfect for celebrations of all shapes and sizes, funfetti muffins can be topped with Teddy Grahams or served without.

Why should cupcakes have all the fun? Muffins aren’t just a cupcake’s boring cousin – they can be just as sweet and whimsical (and this easy recipe will show you how).
And if you follow me on Instagram or read this blog regularly, you might notice a recent trend. I’m slightly obsessed with using sprinkles and Teddy Grahams in my baking.
These two little ingredients make a huge difference! And, yes, they’re optional. But adding them gives the desserts a fun little crunch and dimension to the designs. They’re fun to look at and to eat!
Teddy Graham Desserts
Honestly, I could eat Teddy Grahams straight out of the box. But as delicious as they are by the handfuls, they taste even better on top of some baked treats.

My love of baking with Teddy Grahams started with Chocolate Teddy Muffins. They’re a cross between a healthy breakfast and a sweet dessert. The little Teddy Grahams sit delicately on top.
Then, I thought, why not make cookies? So I made Teddy Chocolate Cookies by slightly tweaking the muffins recipe.
As much as I love chocolate, this time I wanted to make fluffy vanilla muffins. But to keep the whimsy, I also added some white chocolate chips and sprinkles!
Funfetti Muffins
My funfetti muffins were inspired by funfetti cookies. After I saw how colorful and cheerful the cookies where, I knew I wanted to make some muffins just like them.
I mixed the sprinkles into the muffin dough first. Then, I topped each section of the muffin tin with even more sprinkles, adding the Teddy Grahams on top last.
Every bite is a burst of flavor and color!

Perfect For Every Season or Holiday
One of the best things about sprinkles is that you can find different ones for each holiday or season.
These multi-colored sprinkles remind me of a birthday party. Use these muffins for a birthday party, class party, or even an after school snack.
Then, change the sprinkles to match the season. For the fall, use orange and black sprinkles. For Christmas, some blue and white or red and green sprinkles are perfect!
You could even use these muffins for a gender reveal party! Simply add a teaspoon of either pink or blue sprinkles into the middle of a muffin. Then, top with both pink and blue sprinkles!

Funfetti Muffins Topping Ideas
The best part about the funfetti muffins is that you can change the toppings to match your theme, mood, or budget.
Instead of the Teddy Grahams, try some of these ideas on top:
- Whipped Cream
- Mini Oreos
- Melted White Chocolate Drizzle
- Buttercream Frosting
- Crushed M&M candies
Or leave everything off and just eat them plain! They look and taste delicious this way, too.
How Long Will Funfetti Muffins Last?
They taste so good that everyone will probably eat them up before they even have a chance to cool off from the oven!
But if you happen to have leftovers, you can store them in the pantry. Keep them in an airtight container and they will last about a week.
You can freeze the muffins, too. They will stay fresh in the freezer for about six months.

How To Make Funfetti Muffins Topped With Teddy Grahams
Start by preheating the oven to 400 degrees and lining a muffin tin with muffin liners. Spray with cooking oil and set aside.
In a large bowl, sift together all dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
Next, add egg, milk, vegetable oil and vanilla extract. Mix until a thick batter forms.
Fold in white chocolate chips and ½ cup sprinkles.

Fill each section of muffin tin and top with remaining sprinkles (you’ll have to do this in two batches, since this recipe calls for about 15 muffins, and most standard tins come with 12 muffin sections).
Top each muffin with 3 Teddy Grahams each.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden and when a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center of a muffin.
Allow to cool before serving. Enjoy!
