These 4-Ingredient Oatmeal Cookies Make for a Perfect Healthy Snack
Got a sweet tooth but looking to make better snacking choices? These 4-Ingredient Banana Oatmeal Cookies are the perfect solution!
Made with just four wholesome ingredients, they are naturally sweetened, packed with fiber, and super simple to make. Whether you’re on a health kick or just want a quick and easy snack, these cookies will satisfy your cravings without derailing your goals.
Why You’ll Love These Cookies
- Healthy Ingredients: With no added sugar or processed ingredients, these cookies are a nutritious alternative to traditional treats.
- Quick and Easy: Just four ingredients and 15 minutes are all you need to whip up a batch.
- Customizable: Add your favorite mix-ins to make them your own.
Do I Need to Use Ripe Bananas?
For this oatmeal cookie recipe we highly recommend using the most ripe bananas – so yes: the riper, the better!
Since these cookies do not use any refined sugar, a riper banana will give it the best possible flavour (ie.: riper bananas are sweeter).
How Long Do They Bake For?
My 4-Ingredient Banana Oatmeal Cookies bake for about 9 to 10 minutes. Be sure you do not overbake them because they will dry out! Remember: cookies still bake a little more when you take them out of the oven (that’s why we recommend a 5 minute cool down before transferring onto a wire rack).
Customize Them
Okay, these will pull them out of the 4 ingredient category, but you can certainly add a few more ingredients to truly make them your own!
Feel free to customize them with the following add-ins:
- Dark chocolate chips
- Chopped nuts
- Dried cranberries or raisins
- A sprinkle of cinnamon
