Chocolate and Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

Packed with chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and topped with mini Reese’s cups, these cookies are soft, chewy, and totally irresistible. A must-bake for chocolate and peanut butter fans!

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup butter melted (55 grams)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar packed (78 grams)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar 42 grams
  • 1 egg room temperature
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour 125 grams
  • ¼ tsp baking soda 1.2 grams
  • ½ tsp salt 3 grams
  • 1 cup chocolate chips 170 grams
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips 170 grams
  • 60 mini Reese’s cups

Instructions
 

  • Begin by mixing together your melted butter and both sugars in a large bowl.
  • Next, add the egg and mix it thoroughly. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
  • Slowly add the dry ingredients into your wet ingredients until a cookie dough forms. Fold in both chocolate chips and peanut butter chips.
  • Wrap the cookie dough in plastic and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  • Once chilled, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll the cookie dough into 1 ½ inch spheres and place onto the lined cookie sheet. Bake for about 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Once ready (it should be golden around the edges), work fast (without burning yourself!) and top each freshly baked cookie with 4 to 5 mini Reese’s cups.
  • Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.
