- ¼ cup butter melted (55 grams)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar packed (78 grams)
- ¼ cup granulated sugar 42 grams
- 1 egg room temperature
- 1 cup all-purpose flour 125 grams
- ¼ tsp baking soda 1.2 grams
- ½ tsp salt 3 grams
- 1 cup chocolate chips 170 grams
- 1 cup peanut butter chips 170 grams
- 60 mini Reese’s cups
Begin by mixing together your melted butter and both sugars in a large bowl.
Next, add the egg and mix it thoroughly. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
Slowly add the dry ingredients into your wet ingredients until a cookie dough forms. Fold in both chocolate chips and peanut butter chips.
Wrap the cookie dough in plastic and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Once chilled, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Roll the cookie dough into 1 ½ inch spheres and place onto the lined cookie sheet. Bake for about 8 to 10 minutes.
Once ready (it should be golden around the edges), work fast (without burning yourself!) and top each freshly baked cookie with 4 to 5 mini Reese’s cups.
Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.
