Croissant Pizza
Make the most romantic little pizzas for Valentine’s Day! Croissant pizza is one of the easiest little snacks (and you can make them in any shape, too!).

Seriously, aren’t these the cutest little mini pizzas you’ve ever seen? When I shared them on TikTok and Instagram, everyone gushed about how fun they were. They’re perfect for everyone – kids, adults, parties, lunch, snacks, you name it!
The secret to making little heart-shaped mini croissant pizza is silicone mold. As the croissant bakes, it forms a heart, baking all the pizza goodness inside.
And even better? I used pre-made croissant dough. That means they are a really quick last-minute appetizer, lunch, or snack. They’re so easy to make, that kids can make them (but you might want to help little ones with the oven).

You’ll fall head over heels in love with these tiny little heart-shaped pizza bites!
Pizza For Valentine’s Day
Sure, everyone enjoys chocolate-covered strawberries on Valentine’s Day, but what about pizza? It’s shareable and customizable, and it has some of the best love puns, too.
In fact, when you make this croissant pizza, handwrite a card with one of these puns on it (you’ll thank me later).
- Do you believe in love at first slice?
- I love every pizza you.
- Any way you slice it, you can’t be topped.
- Tomato-ly in love with you
- Olive you more than pizza.
Ok, those were pretty cheesy (I can’t stop!). So let’s get to the recipe

Pizza Croissants
These are the perfect little things to eat any time of day. Fill them up with eggs and bacon and eat them for breakfast. Or make mini pepperoni bites for lunch.
Croissant pizza bites are also the perfect treat for a classroom Valentine’s Day party. You can make a bunch of them really quickly. Plus, they’re really affordable and kids love them too!
What Ingredients Do I Need To Make Croissant Pizza Bites?
Here is what I used in my croissant pizza. Keep in mind that you can customize it (and I’ll share how further down in the post).
- Store-Bought Croissant Dough
- Tomato or Pizza Sauce
- Shredded Mozzarella or Cheddar Cheese
- Silicone Pan With Heart-Shaped Cavities

How Long Does Croissant Pizza Last?
Since the croissant pizza has cheese and pizza sauce, you need to keep them refrigerated or frozen.
Here’s how long they will last in both:
- Refrigerator – 3-5 days
- Freezer – 3-6 months

Use Your Favorite Pizza Toppings
Yes, you can customize the croissant pizza with your favorite toppings. Be careful not to overfill them. If you use too many toppings, the croissant dough might rip.
That’s why I suggest sticking with a few toppings and chopping them up into really tiny pieces. They will fit inside the heart shape better this way.
Here are a few different types of toppings you could use in the filling:
- Olives
- Pepperoni
- Jalapenos
- Sausage
- Ham
- Bacon
Be creative with the cheese, too. Shred some spicy cheese for a bit of heat!
How To Make Croissant Pizza
Begin by preheating your oven by following the baking instructions on the croissant dough package, usually around 375 degrees F.
Then, spray the heart shapes of your silicone pan with cooking spray and set aside.
Roll out the croissant dough and gently press on any perforated lines to seal the dough together.

Cut the dough into squares about 3×3 inches in size (or, larger/smaller depending on the size of the heart shapes in your pan).
Place a dough square into each section of the silicone pan, leaving enough overhang to seal the
edges later.

Add a spoonful of tomato sauce into the center of each heart, then sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheese on top.
Fold the overhanging dough over the fillings, pinching the edges to seal.
Place the silicone pan on a baking sheet for stability, and bake for about 12-14 miniutes, or until the dough is golden brown and flaky.
Allow the heart-shaped croissant pizzas to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
