Skillet Brookie

- Cooking spray
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 2 large eggs
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ tsp salt
- Cookie dough enough dough to make one dozen cookies
Spray a cast iron skillet (10 inches) with cooking spray and set aside. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Melt butter in a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat.
Once butter is melted, remove from heat and add sugar and cocoa powder. Mix well.
Next, add eggs and mix thoroughly.
Sift flour and salt into the wet ingredients and mix until a brownie batter forms.
Pour into the coated skillet.
Drop cookie dough by the spoonfuls on top of the brownie batter.
Bake for 28 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center.
Allow to cool for about 10 minutes, and serve!
