Skillet Brookie

Ingredients
  

  • Cooking spray
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Cookie dough enough dough to make one dozen cookies

Instructions
 

  • Spray a cast iron skillet (10 inches) with cooking spray and set aside. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Melt butter in a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat.
  • Once butter is melted, remove from heat and add sugar and cocoa powder. Mix well.
  • Next, add eggs and mix thoroughly.
  • Sift flour and salt into the wet ingredients and mix until a brownie batter forms.
  • Pour into the coated skillet.
  • Drop cookie dough by the spoonfuls on top of the brownie batter.
  • Bake for 28 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center.
  • Allow to cool for about 10 minutes, and serve!
