One Bowl Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 6 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp brown sugar packed
  • 1 large egg room temperature
  • 1 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, cream together butter and both sugars.
  • Add egg. Mix until all wet ingredients are well-combined.
  • Next, add flour, baking soda, salt and mix all ingredients until a dough forms.
  • Add chocolate chips and fold.
  • Wrap the dough in plastic and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Scoop cookie dough mounds on the lined baking sheet (about 2 tablespoons worth) and bake for 11 to 13 minutes or until edges are golden.
  • Allow to cool and set before serving, preferably on a wire rack.
