Ingredients
  

For the Berry Base

  • Cooking spray
  • 3-4 cups mixed berries we used sliced strawberries and blueberries
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon

For the Crumble Topping

  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup oats
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ stick butter cold and sliced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a small casserole dish with cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Begin with your berry base: in a small bowl, add berries, followed by granulated sugar, flour and ground cinnamon. Fold so that all of the berries are evenly coated with sugar and flour mixture.
  • Pour the berry base into the coated casserole dish, ensuring it is even and completely covering the bottom of the dish. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, mxi together brown sugar, oats and all-purpose flour.
  • Next, add sliced butter (make sure it’s still cold), and use a pastry cutter to incorporate it with the brown sugar mixture.
  • Evenly add the butter, oat and brown sugar mixture on top of the berry layer, covering it completely and evenly.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Allow 5 to 10 minutes to cool before serving.
