Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and lay parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Set aside.
In a bowl, combine melted butter, both sugars and egg. Mix until creamy.
In another bowl, sift together flour, matcha, baking soda and salt.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and combine until a cookie dough forms.
Add white chocolate chips.
Roll into one-inch balls and place gently on your lined cookie sheet – about 1 ½ inches apart. This recipe makes about 12-15 cookies but if you are using a standard sized cookie sheet, the maximum you should try to fit are 12 cookies.
Bake for 9 minutes or until edges are slightly golden. Allow to cool for 5 minutes and serve.
