- ¾ cup butter melted and cooled
- 1 cup brown sugar packed
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ¾ cup sprinkles
- Teddy Grahams for topping (optional but recommended)
Preheat your oven to 325°F and butter a 10-inch cast-iron skillet.
In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.
Add the eggs and mix until smooth.
Add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips and about ½ cup of the sprinkles.
Press the cookie dough evenly into the prepared cast-iron skillet.
Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup sprinkles over the top and gently press them into the dough.
Bake for 35–40 minutes, keeping an eye on it. The edges should be golden while the center remains slightly soft.
As soon as the cookie skillet comes out of the oven, gently press Teddy Grahams on top while the cookie is still warm.
Allow the cookie skillet to cool before slicing and serving.
